I often get asked why we only sell Corian and Quartz worktops at TFI. It's an easy one for me to answer - because our phone never rings with issues that are more associated with other inferior surfaces that are prevalent on a host of other internet worktop websites. Before we offer any surface we undertake long research into it's make up, the price and the manufacturers faith in the product - let's face it, if you offer a 5yr manufacturing defect guarantee on a bespoke surface, why wouldn't you opt for a laminate offering the same. It's no secret and pretty well documented that I have little regard for those who sell products over the internet yet have no knowledge of the products they sell. It's no different when it comes to internet worktop providers. Many out there are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and offer a good service yet there are many, even established ones whose thirst for generating profit overides a commitment to their customers satisfaction. We trade with an ethos of openess and place client satisfaction at the top of our list. We could, I'm sure, generate further income were we to offer all types of worktops here and we are regularly approached to do so but we'd be offering our visitors a disservice knowing that certain worktops do not offer good value for the money you pay. Some call this foolhardy in business but I believe it's more foolhardy not o research a product before either buying it or more importantly, selling it.
