The Eco Kitchen – Puustelli Miinus – The Kitchen Has Evolved
The emphasis of the products we wish to highlight here at Kitchensfitted are placed firmly with an eye to the future health of our planet and for the benefit of future generations, so, sustainability, recycling, water-saving and eco friendly are common assets and themes shared by the products we promote and write about.
Among these is the revolutionary Miinus Eco Kitchens range from Puustelli that is set to shake up the kitchen landscape here in the UK
The Puustelli Miinus Kitchens range
Three years in development and with an investment of €1.5 million by the parent company, Finnish manufacturers Puustelli, the Miinus range is now available in the UK. It’s a range that I became aware of during the development stage and I’m delighted to be playing a role in getting the message out there that a radical and evolutionary shift has taken place in the kitchen market with the introduction of a range that was developed ‘entirely’ on ecological grounds.
An Eco Friendly Kitchen
Puustelli Miinus Eco Kitchens, are sustainable, recyclable, water resistant, MDF and Chipboard free, employs the use of an earth friendly, lightweight biocomposite structure for the cabinets, utilises highly sustainable forestry for all doors and wood components and almost halves the carbon footprint of a conventional kitchen range.
Other assets improve upon those of existing kitchen ranges and the Miinus range is stronger, almost half the weight, has substantially less VOC, (Volatile Organic Compound), emissions and is re-modifiable should you wish to take a cabinet apart and rebuild due to relocation or a house move.
We’re proud to be representative of this pioneering range in the UK and although it may be a small cog in the wheel of an eco imperative we all must abide by in the future, it’s a step in the right direction
