The Worktop Jig is a necessity when making professional worktop joints

Supplied with full illustrated instructions and locator pegs. A range of templates for use with most makes and model of professional and DIY router with either ½” or ¼” collet. All templates are made from tough, wear resistant industrial grade plastic to give years of accurate service. The template is used to guide the router when machining left and right hand mason mitre (Butt & Scribe) joints - both male and female parts out of square joints and connector bolt slots in post formed worktops and window boards. With the instructions guiding the user through each step of the process, smart accurate joints can be produced in minutes.
Templates are available to suit both ½” or ¼” routers and details in an email to info@kitchensfitted.co.uk of your router make and model will be required at the time of order along with the outside diameter of the guide bush as seen below.


The guide bush is usually supplied with the router from new. They come in different shapes and sizes, but their function is the always the same.
It is fixed to the base plate of the router so that the short tube bit is left protruding. This short tube then locates into the slot in the template, as you machine the edge of the guide bush slides along the edge of the template slot. This ensures that you cut exactly where you are supposed to, and you will cut the perfect joint
Each template is predrilled to accept the locator pegs, and all holes are permanently marked with reference numbers to ensure accurate and speedy setup prior to the machining operation. Window boards and postformed worktops of 300, 450, 500, 600, 618 and 650mm can be cut using the standard predrilled hole settings in the template.
